ABS vs OEM Fairings
What OEM-grade ABS fairings are, how Apex Fairings kits are made to order with factory fitment, and how finishes compare.
What OEM-grade ABS means
Apex Fairings kits are made-to-order in OEM-grade ABS and pre-drilled for factory mounting points. That means the panels follow the same mounting layout as your stock bodywork: same bolt positions, same tab locations, same fitment you remove and replace.
Made to order, painted to your finish
Every kit is produced after you order — gloss, matte, or full custom graphics. Production can take up to 30 days before dispatch. Because each kit is painted to order, tell us your colors and finish at order time; photos are part of the process and tracking follows after shipment.
What to compare when shopping
Compare three things: fitment (exact brand, model, year — see the fitment guide), material and mounting (OEM-grade ABS, pre-drilled factory mounts), and terms (production time, free standard shipping to available destinations, and who pays destination import charges — at Apex Fairings, import duties, taxes, VAT, customs, and brokerage are the customer's responsibility).
Price vs value
Brand hubs list starting prices (for example, Kawasaki from $459, Honda from $409, Triumph Daytona 675 from $549 depending on model and finish). A lower entry price with the wrong fitment is the most expensive mistake — verify your model page first, then pick the finish.
